2009

As 2009 comes to an end. For us the Valderrama Family was a good year, a busy year, and a stressful year. Probably like most everyone else.

For us this year Brooke turned 5 this year she learned how to ride a bike. She is our Princess she loves everything about makeup, lotions and smelling good. She even got a vanity for Christmas. Brooke loves to read.

Dylan turned 8 this year. He was baptized this past Aug. He learned how to ride his bike too. He loves trains and cars. When he turned 8 he joined Cub Scouts and likes it. Dylan also enjoys schools and playing outside with he friends.

Melanie is working hard, with both work and taking care of the kids. She does a great job with both. Melanie as participated in our ward Roadshow and loved and she was very good in it.

As for me, I am just working hard. I am glad the Lakers are Champions this past summer. I am sad that USC had a bad year. They will bounce back next year.

Those are some of the highlights of 2009 from the Valderrama family. I hope everyone has a Happy 2010 Year.

A Valderrama Easter

Easter this year was a lot like Christmas. The night before Dylan and Brooke were in bed before 9PM(that hardly ever happens) then after they were asleep Melanie and myself got the Easter baskets ready. Then as everyone was sleeping at 4:30am Dylan and Brooke woke up and were ready to check there baskets. Melanie was able to get them to lay there for about another half hour then they were up and ready to go to excited. So they had to wake me up. Then they got their baskets and found Easter eggs. That is why Easter is a lot like Christmas for us.

Playing in the snow

Over the Christmas week it snowed everyday. Some days worse than others. After all said and done we got about 2 feet of snow. After the snow plows came through our street we had some mounds of snow. So Dylan and Brooke along with some of there friends went out to play in the snow and do some sledding. Brooke loved it and Dylan not so much. I remember growing up and taking trips to mountains of Southern Cali and go tubing and sledding. One time when I was tubing I went down the hill and into this turn and on the other side of of the turn was a tree waiting for me. I hit that tree and I ended up with this huge not on my forehead. The memories of sledding.
